Somerset County in Pennsylvania is now “America’s County.” The local chamber of commerce trademarked the phrase as a tribute to residents who responded during difficult times–the crash of hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001, and the rescue of nine men one year ago from a flooded coal mine.
