– General Motors is sending child-seat instructions to 1.7 million vehicle owners to supplement owner’s manuals with information on back-seat anchors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had determined GM didn’t meet a federal requirement to explain how to find and use the child-seat anchors, called the LATCH system. The action affects the 2003 Buick Rendezvous, 2003 Cadillac CTS, 2003 Chevrolet Express, 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 2002-2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, 2001-2003 Chevrolet Venture, 2002-2003 GMC Envoy, 2003 GMC Savana, 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, 2002-2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2001-2003 Pontiac Aztek, 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and 2001-2003 Pontiac Montana.
