Rowley Sr. and the late Elizabeth Caboor Rowley; dear father of Michael (Marcia), Larry, C.P.D. (Anna) and Judith (Tony) Hyatt; loving grandfather of Jason Hyatt, Lisa (Jim) Trabadela, Douglas Rowley, Melissa (Eric) Jackson, Amy and Laura Rowley and Matthew Hyatt; dear uncle of Patrick (Diane) Schroder. Funeral Thursday 9:15 a.m. from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie Avenue, to St. John Fisher Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Longtime secretary/treasurer of Blue Island Lions Club. Member of St. John Fisher Holy Name. His passion was bowling, having been a member of many leagues for over 65 years. William ran many businesses. He was in the amusement business, where he organized carnivals (rides, booths, cotton candy, popcorn). He also ran a Karmel Korn Shop in Markham, IL, real estate sales, insurance sales and a bookkeeping and income tax service (Wm. Rowley & Assoc.) in Blue Island, IL. Graduate of DePaul Academy.
