– The Ford Show at Volo Aug. 24 marks the 100th anniversary of Ford Motor Co. The show, sponsored by the Volo Auto Museum and Model A Club of America, will feature Ford vehicles through the years. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum, on Highway 120, 13 miles west of Interstate Highway 94 in Volo. – The Art Institute of Chicago presents Aerospace Design: The Art of Engineering from NASA’s Aeronautical Research, an exhibit that explores aeronautically engineered forms and their relationship to architecture and design. The exhibit, which runs through Feb. 8, features NASA artifacts of technological and aesthetic advances in flight in the last century. Museum hours are 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
