This is regarding “Vatican to weigh in on biotech food issue; Alarms over global hunger abut fears of modified crops” (Page 1, Aug. 13). Note to Vatican: An endorsement of modern methods of birth control would be a significantly more enlightened approach to alleviating world hunger than genetically modified food.
