The Olsen Twins: You either lust after them or hate them.
Rolling Stone magazine is getting flamed on message boards because the rock rag put Mary-Kate and
Ashley on the cover of the Sept. 4 issue under the headline “America’s Favorite Fantasy.” Music fans are irate that the teeny bop queens appear on rock’s most hallowed cover.
Not that a host of slavering Internet fans care.
Several Web sites, such as www.olsen twinscountdown.com, are devoted to ticking away the days, hours, minutes–and seconds–to when the young ladies become legal.
The twins, however, are probably too busy rifling through the pockets of preteens to be concerned with all this. The latest product they’re peddling: their own toothpaste, called Bubble Cool.
