A new survey shows that more people than ever are using seat belts in the U.S.–79 percent overall. SUV and van users have the highest use rate (83 percent) and pickup truck drivers the lowest (69 percent); geographically, the West buckles up most (84 percent) and the Midwest the least (75 percent).
