The VMA Awards–airing live Thursday night on MTV–has inspired a slew of concerts. Among them are a Justin Timberlake show at the Roseland Ballroom after the awards show and a rare club show by Metallica on Friday at New York’s 500-capacity Bowery Ballroom.
