Monday is Labor Day, a federal holiday. The following services will be affected:
– Schools: Public and private schools will be closed.
– Government offices: All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
– Postal service: There will be no mail delivery or pickup.
– Courts: Federal, state and county courts will be closed; Central Bond Court will hold its regular 1 p.m. call.
– Banks: Will be closed.
– Financial markets: Daytime trading will be closed.
– Parking: Free at meters.
– Transit: CTA, Pace and Metra will run on Sunday schedules.
