You savored it on TV. Apparently so did P. Diddy–unfortunately for him.
Diddy had a front-row seat at Thursday’s MTV Video Music Awards but arrived too late to catch Madonna tongue-wrestle with Britney Spears on stage, according to the World Entertainment News Network. The distraught rap mogul settled for watching the video replay while still out on the red carpet.
Just 10.7 million viewers tuned in for the smooch, down from last year’s record of 12 million.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent is basking in the rumors swirling around him and foxy Vivica A. Fox. The rapper says the two are just friends, but he doesn’t mind hearing tabloid reports that they’re an item.
“We’re just friends, but it’s a great rumor,” he says. “It’s doing wonders. We went out to eat, she passed the salt, and they said we were kissing.
“I’m having a good year, but I’m not that lucky.”
