I have been a lifelong opponent of the death penalty, but the case of Paul Hill, the man just executed in Florida for killing a doctor and his bodyguard, has given me second thoughts (“Abortion foe executed for slayings,” News, Sept. 4).
Maybe someone so eager to collect his “great reward in heaven” should be given that opportunity.
