I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten lost while driving because a street was one name on one side of an intersection and a different name on the other. Can we get Illinois to end this nonsense and leave a street the same name from start to finish, regardless of the city it crosses? What Einstein started this nonsense?
When I have to drive somewhere unfamiliar, I get whiplash from spinning my head all over the place to catch every possible permutation of names at intersections. Please stop the insanity!
I grew up in California, where we were not subjected to this form of vehicular cruelty (other forms, but not this one!).
