Grab a snack, nod your head to the DJ and pick up a paintbrush at the Art-a-Thon benefit, part of the Lillstreet Art Center’s opening party for its new facility at 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave.
From 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Lillstreet staff members will hold art workshops in ceramics, jewelry, metalwork, textiles, drawing and painting. Food and music will be provided.
