George K. Uchima, dear husband of the late Marian Asako, nee Ishiki, is survived by their children, Katherine, David, Thomas and Joseph and his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George was a founding member and past president of the Chicago Okinawa Kenjinkai. Visitation is Monday, September 15, at 3 p.m. until the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. The service will be held at the Lakeview Funeral Home at 1458 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago 773-472-6300 . Memorials to the Chicago Okinawa Kenjinkai Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
