John “Jack” David Skolnik, 20, of Evanston, IL, beloved son of Sara and Robert Skolnik; brother of Rachel and Mary; cousin of Ari; grandson of Estelle; and beloved friend of Sarah Soltz, died Friday September 12 in New York City where he was a student at New York University. Services will be held for John on Wednesday, September 17 at 10 a.m. at Beth Emet Free Synagouge, Dempster & Ridge, Evanston, followed by burial at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago. Call 847-869-4230.
