The Village Board has unanimously approved plans to build a BP gas station and convenience store on the 1.69-acre site at the southeast corner of Roosevelt and Lambert Roads, where Z’s Restaurant is located.
BP will demolish Z’s and replace it with a gas station with 10 pumps, an 830-square-foot car wash and a 4,200-square-foot convenience store. BP will simultaneously close its existing gas station about a half-mile east, at the northeast corner of Roosevelt Road and Main Street.
No use yet has been determined for that property, said Assistant Village Manager Curt Barrett.
