By our reckoning, if you have to see one of these, that means you should get something more than popcorn in return–maybe an action adventure:
– “The Magdalene Sisters,” a chick-horror flick, though guys may actually find it so horror-filled as to be likable; just don’t let her know you like it.
– “Under the Tuscan Sun,” which just opened: frustrated divorcee who needs a change–get the picture?
– “Thirteen,” a dysfunctional young-chick flick (and scare-Mom movie).
