The construction of Oswego East High School takes a big step closer to completion Wednesday as the structure’s cornerstone will be put in position.

A ceremony is set for 5 p.m. at the 100-acre site, near the corner of Wolfs Crossing and Harvey Roads.

A time capsule inside the cornerstone will include local newspaper articles and other items of historical significance. Speakers will include Oswego East Principal Ed Howerton and other officials.
