Following the finalized deal merging General Electric with Vivendi Universal, VU Games — which was for sale at an $800 million price point and which recently released the successful “Simpsons: Hit and Run” — no longer is wearing a for-sale sign, according to a top Vivendi executive.
Jean-Bernard Levy, Vivendi Universal’s chief operating officer, told Reuters about the attempt at a sale: “We went outside, found it was very cold and we decided to close the door and stay back inside. That’s where we are today.”
