I am taking a philosophic approach. My great-grandchildren will get to see something I won’t–the Cubs in the World Series. By that time, because of the exorbitant amount of money demanded by the players, they will have priced themselves out of baseball. Instead of live players, the teams will be computer-generated holographic images projected on the ball diamonds. Because of the cost savings, the good news will be that the price of tickets will be affordable.
