Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

In “You win some, you lose some,” the following was found under both the winners and losers sections: “Boneheaded Sox fans who spent what little money they have on Marlins jerseys. They got what they wanted.”

A comment like this is what makes Sox fans dislike the Cub Nation so much.

The comment was both ignorant and biased.

To think and then publish a statement saying that Sox fans are poor follows the Tribune’s normal path of totally alienating an entire team and its fan base.

I read the Chicago Sun-Times daily. On this particular day I splurged and bought the Chicago Tribune as well, and that comment reminded me why I do not buy your paper on a regular basis.

Thanks for saving this poor South Sider a lot of money–from now on that 15 cents I will save buying the Sun-Times instead of the Tribune will come in handy when I purchase my Florida Marlins National League Championship T-shirt.

The real losers: Those boneheaded Cubs fans who spent hundreds of dollars on tickets to see their team choke–again, this time on fish.

Now we have to listen to them cry about it for the next 95 years.

Lucky us.
