You can’t get a dollar out of 50 Cent–but you might be able to get $12,500 worth of diamonds.
In an effort to pump up his group G-Unit’s debut album, “Beg for Mercy,” the rapper is giving away four diamond-studded chain medallions. Four of the first million CDs pressed will come bundled with a golden ticket redeemable for the iced-out necklace.
“Everybody knows when I do something, I got to do it bigger than anyone else out there,” 50 said in a press release.
And by “everyone else,” he means Eminem. Slim Shady pulled a similar publicity stunt last month, hiding golden tickets in the CDs of his protege Obie Trice that allowed fans to meet with him in his Detroit studio as he works on his next album.
