Even with a 2-5 record, Notre Dame coach Tyrone Willingham is upbeat. “Sometimes when things aren’t going well, you can very easily feel down,” Willingham said. “But I like our football team, I like the way they fought back [against Boston College]. It would have been very easy, when you are down 6-24, to just let it go.” . . . Defensive tackle Darrell Campbell, who spent the second half of Notre Dame’s 27-25 loss to BC on the sidelines injured, is probable for Saturday’s game against Florida State. . . . Kicker Nicholas Setta remains questionable with a leg injury, but is expected to return this season. . . . Strong safety Glenn Earl, who missed the game against Boston College, will again be out against Florida State. Garron Bible will replace him.
