Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Every morning I rely on Red Eye to give me the news I need to survive for the upcoming workday. So, I was a little distraught to read your article about an Oscar-nominated singer [Elliott Smith] that committed suicide. Now the only thing I can relate to him is that he created a song for the award-winning movie “Good Will Hunting.”

Then I turn to the last page and read a little snip called Back Burner. In the smallest spot ever, I read that Rerun died at 52. Not even 10 words. I grew up with Rerun on TV, and I believe he was greatly unappreciated in your paper.
