Regarding Phil Rogers’ hot-air opinions (“McKeon move may backfire,” Tribune, Oct. 25) about Jack McKeon’s choice of Josh Beckett for what turned out so beautifully to be the Marlins’ World Series clincher, Rogers ought to “trot out [his] familiar numbers” some other October when he’s more in touch with what a team like the Marlins were in the process of accomplishing.
But I still enjoy reading Rogers’ columns.
