I took an online subscription to the Tribune during the Cubs/Marlins series. I did so because our paper, the Miami Herald, is not the publication it once was, and the sports writers use so much hyperbole.
I compliment you on your content and evenhandedness. Chicago is fortunate to have such a great hometown paper.
Regarding the Cubs: While most of us in Miami are happy the Marlins won the World Series, I haven’t spoken to anyone who would have been upset if the Cubs had beaten us. Maybe next year.
