How difficult has Notre Dame’s schedule been this season? All nine of the Fighting Irish’s opponents have taken the field against Notre Dame with a winning record. But a respite may be just around the corner. Struggling Brigham Young will visit South Bend on Saturday with a 4-6 record.
After that, the Irish will enjoy a week off before heading to Stanford (4-4). They close the regular season against Syracuse (5-3). The key to winning the next three games and salvaging a .500 season? It could be getting the lead at halftime. Only twice this season–against Pittsburgh and Navy–has Notre Dame been ahead at the break. Both times the Irish won.
