A man was killed Sunday morning when the SUV he was a passenger in sped out of control during a chase and hit a light pole, Chicago police said.
The accident took place about 4 a.m. in the 2300 block of West Garfield Boulevard. The passenger was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His identity was not released, pending notification of family.
