Last month, the FDA approved a chewable version of the birth-control pill Ovcon-35 for women who may have trouble swallowing pills. The spearmint-flavored pill can be chewed and chased with a glass of water (to ensure that all the medication reaches the bloodstream). It will likely be launched in the spring.
