Charles Edward “Chuck” Cope, 89, of Barrington, Illinois, died Dec. 1, 2003, in his home at Lake Barrington. He was born in Nogales, Arizona, Jan. 11, 1914. Beloved husband of the late Loraine, nee Tansey; loving father of Liana (Myles) Cope, Northshield Thompson and Debra Cope Reschke; devoted grandfather of Michelle Rose and Glenn Edward Reschke; dear brother-in-law of Winona Tansey, Gilbert Tansey and the late Regina Tansey Stucka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Long time resident of northwest suburbs of Rolling Meadows and Barrington. Chuck proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service as he has donated his body to scientific study.
