While ensnared in a contract dispute with former mentor P. Diddy, 112 watched him help B2K up the charts. Things have supposedly been resolved, but “Everyday,” from 112’s long-awaited fourth album, suggests lingering bitterness: “They sayin’ that he gave us the hits/knowin’ damn well that we write our own [bleep].” That songwriting skill is worth the boast. The buzzing Euro-bass line that made “Peaches and Cream” crackle returns on “Unbelievable” and “Give It To Me.”
