Fred C. Kron, age 88, of Poplarville, MS, died Nov. 28, 2003 at home. A native of Chicago, IL he was a Machinist and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Esther Beecher Kron; five sons, Fred Kron of Redwood City, CA, Cliff, Ken and Philip Kron of Chicago, IL, Glen Kron of Harve de Grace, MD, 2 daughters Sharon Kron Hull, of Slidell, LA and Elaine Kron McAndrew of Poplarville, MS; he is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at the Lighthouse of Hope Church, 1204 S. Main St. in Poplarville, MS at 10 a.m. The Rev. Lonnie Oquin will officiate.
