Officers from the Chicago Department of Animal Care and Control and the Police Department on Thursday afternoon tranquilized and captured a coyote spotted near Navy Pier.
It took them about four hours to capture the coyote after receiving a call about it, authorities said.
Police Department marine officers helped track the coyote, which hid among rocks along the lakefront after it was shot with the tranquilizer.
