Erna Decker, nee Fiene, age 83, survived by her dear friend Ed Rodewald with whom she giggled through life; Loving mother of Donna Becker and David (Joanne) Decker; fond grandmother of Jodi (Steve) Cachur, Brittney (Paul) Readinger, Scott (Becky) Decker, Christine (Aaron) Holmer and many who knew her as “Gram”; dear great-grandmother of Michael Cachur, Payton Decker and Baby Holmer due in January; loving sister of Florence (late Carl) Jannusch and Eleanor (Ed) Zoellick. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. For those who knew her, please bring your fondest memory to share with others.
