Slim Shady definitely has been beefing at a lot of rappers lately, but probably unbeknownst to many fans, most of it is pretty stale.
File-sharing services lit up over the last few days with mass swapping of Em’s recently leaked EP, “Straight From the Lab,” an assortment of unreleased dis-oriented tracks.
In “Bully,” Eminem swipes back at Source magazine co-owner Ray Benzino for likening Em to a “Rap Hitler.” But most of the collection mixes it up with Ja Rule, with a dash of Canibus thrown in.
Perhaps the best song to download is “Do Rae Me,” which ends with Em’s daughter asking, “Daddy, is Ja Rule taller than me?” He replies, “No, honey, you guys are the same size.”
