Dennis K. Moore, 55, of South Bend, IN, died Dec. 3 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City after battling prostate cancer for the past year. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; his two daughters, Erin (Rob) Moore and Colleen Moore; his son, Brendan Moore; and his sister, Kathleen (David) McDaniel. Visitation 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, with a Wake Service at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Dec. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame, with burial following at Cedar Grove Cemetery on campus.
