Marguerite “Peggy” Towler, age 75, a resident of Steger, passed away at home on Dec. 4. She was the beloved mother of Wendy (Chuck) Doubet of Trivoli, IL and David (Susan) Towler of Frankfort. Peggy was the dear sister of Jack (Jean) Cahill, Bill Cahill and dear sister-in-law of Phyllis Cahill. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Dale; her late son, Brad; and her late brother, Donald (Rosa) Cahill. Peggy was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Rick and Katie Doubet and Nichole, Heather and Lauren Towler. She had been employed in customer service at Sears in Park Forest for 15 years. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home in Park Forest. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
