Ice Cube, Mack 10 and WC are back as Westside Connection. Their mission: to prove West Coast rap is alive and well.
The group’s new disc, “Terrorist Threats,” due out Tuesday, aims to do just that.
“People are looking for more substance in the music, but just anybody can’t give it to them,” Ice Cube told the Los Angeles Times. “That’s why I like this Westside Connection record–it’s still intelligent to a point where it’s provoking new thoughts and new ideas.”
Back burner: Heather Graham to star in indie feature “Samantha’s Child” … Hilary Duff sells out first string of tour dates in 30 minutes … Miss Ireland crowned Miss World.
