Irving Kunz, 84, of South Elgin, loving husband of Mary Ellen, nee Bagley; dear father to Irving (Rita) Kunz Jr. and Daryl (Dwain) Van Eck; fond grandfather of six; and great-grandfather of 12; brother of Arthur (Betty) Kunz and Ernest Kunz. A Veteran, he served in the US Army during WW II. Retired from International Harvestor after 43 years. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 10 a.m. in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2700 W. Highland Ave., Elgin, IL, 60123. Burial will be in Washington Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Elgin, IL. Visitation will be on Monday, December 8, 2003 in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St. (Rt. 31), Elgin, IL, 60123, 847-741-8800, from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian School.
