Welsford Sr., formerly of Brentwood Assisted Living Community of Niles, MI and Chicago, died on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at a local nursing home, dear husband of the late Kathryn A., nee Roche; beloved father of the late Robert C. Welsford Jr.; dear brother of Jack (Marjorie) Welsford of Lockport, IL; fond brother-in-law of Thomas E. (Marilyn) Roche of Buchanan, MI; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
