Jean McDonnell, age 85, born April 15, 1918, passed away December 7, 2003. She was the cherished daughter of the late Adolph Kalinoski and Lorraine, nee Machowtak; and beloved wife of Walter Knackstedt, who passed in 1972, Jean was widowed twice. Survived by two daughters, Marcia (Robert) Petter, Plover, WI, and Geri (Tom) Cervelli, Woodridge, IL, two sons, Mark (Kathy) Knackstedt, Temperanee, MI, and Walter (Diane) Knackstedt; one brother, Hank (Vivian) Kalinoski, Philadelphia, PA, and one sister, Edith (Joseph) Bendis, Naperville, IL; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She worked as a R.N. for about 50 years. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2003, Noon until 1 p.m. at Forest Home Chapel, Cook County, IL, with burial to follow, 1 p.m. at Forest Home Cemetery, Cook County, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
