John P. Valent, age 84, WWII Army Vet, of Mt. Prospect, formerly of Chicago, beloved husband of the late Phyllis V., nee Votava; loving father of Gregory Jay Valent and Nancy M. Valent Weinand; dear brother of Anne Ellinger, the late Marie Koster, the late Kay DiRaffaeli and the late Marge Fittanto; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; devoted friend of Helene Kaseska, Buster and Beauty. 40 year member of I.B.E.W.
