Missing college student Dru Sjodin probably is dead, the sheriff said Tuesday in confirming that preliminary DNA tests found Sjodin’s blood in the car of the man suspected of kidnapping her.
Grand Forks County Sheriff Dan Hill also said searchers found a shoe belonging to Sjodin, 22, near the Red Lake River after she disappeared. Divers don’t think her body is in the river, he said.
