The New York Observer has released its list of the city’s 50 Power Punks–the most powerful, ambitious people under 35 who are eating the Big Apple alive.
Among the big shots are Drew Barrymore, 28, Chloe Sevigny, 29, Jay-Z, 34, and Carson Kressley, a “slightly leathery 34.”
The paper described Barrymore as a star in charge of her own destiny, with a production company and enough money so she never has to work again. Jay-Z got the nod because he built an empire of records, a recording label, a clothing line, a movie studio, a vodka line and sneakers. Plus, he’s with Beyonce.
