Catherine T. “Kate” Smith, nee Swain, age 74, of Canaryville, passed away December 12, 2003. Kate was the devoted wife of the late Donald; a beloved mother of Timothy (Donna), Patricia Meyers, and Michael Smith; dearest grandmother of Stacy, Keith, Dana, Timothy, Steven, Megan, Jimmy, and Michael; and greatgrandmother of Timothy and Frankie; dear sister of the late Edmund (the late Anna Rita) Swain; a fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend to all who knew her, especially Mary Trentz. Member of Madonna Council K. of C. Womens Auxiliary and a member of St. Gabriels Womens Club. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m. from Thomas McInerney’s Sons Funeral Home, 4635 S.
