(Jean) Downing and the late Elizabeth Gardner; grandfather of five; great-grandfather of one; fond uncle of Lyn and Laurie. Retired Chemical Engineer with Whiting/Swenson (1942-1983). Life member of Oak Forest Masonic Lodge #832, Scottish Rite & Shriner. Member C.S.A. Triangle Alumni of Ohio State University.
