Dr. C. Conver Talbot, of Chicago, passed away at his home in Chicago on December 15, 2003. Dr. Talbot graduated from Princeton University, received his doctorate from Northwestern University, and then became a professor at Northwestern University. He later served as the president of Passavant Hospital. During World War II, Dr. Talbot was a Captain with the Medical Corps in Italy, France and North Africa, and was decorated with the Bronze Star. Dr. Talbot also volunteered with the Boy Scouts, receiving the Silver Beavers Award. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia; his two sons, C. Conver (Barbara) Talbot Jr., and Dr. Christopher (Kathleen) Talbot; four grandchildren, Henry, Eugene, Eleanor, and Charles; a niece, Jacqueline Martin; and a grandniece, Jessica Kiddle.
