Thomas Wade Mills, November 7, 1932 November 28, 2003. Chief Master Sgt (Ret.). Thomas Wade Mills, 71, of Downers Grover, IL passed away November 28, 2003 in Tampa, FL. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Joan Lee Filley Mills; and four children, Kathy L. Wertz of Fremont, IN, William W. Mills of Naperville, IL, Susan DiDomizio of Bantam, CT, and Linda Linke of Bolingbrook, IL; 10 grandchildren will miss their grandpa who was born and raised in Ft. Wayne, IN, worked 32 years for The Home Insurance Company, and served 21 years in the Air Force/Air National Guard. A memorial service will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 432 59th St. in Downers Grove, IL on Friday, December 26 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Baer officiating. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
