As I sit at my computer, snuffling and hacking away, I just want to thank whoever gave me this nasty little bug. I could be at work right now if you’d only:
– Stayed home when you were sick instead of venturing out and contaminating me.
– Washed your hands after you’d sneezed or coughed into them.
– Actually covered your mouth when you sneezed or coughed (now there’s a concept!).
I’m off to blow my nose, wash my hands, then pull the covers over my head till the spring thaw. Bah hum-bug! Happy Flu Year!
