Grace L. Mengar, nee Ostby, of Bartlett, beloved wife of the late David V. whom she married in 1951, daughter of the late Sven and Karen Ostby, nee Carlson. A 1945 graduate of Lakeview H.S. Studied opera and sang in many local musicals in Chicago. She entertained family and friends over the years with her beautiful voice. Survived by her loving children Karin Davis, Michael (Sandi) Mengar, Linda (Robert) Christiansen and Daniel (Maureen) Mengar; cherished grandmother of Anthony Davis, Danielle, David and Derek Mengar, Ryan and Scott Christiansen, Linnea Mark and Elizabeth Mengar; proud aunt of two nieces and two nephews; dear sister of Ernest (Glenna) Ostby and Eric (Carol) Ostby.
